Argentine farm organisations plan to resume their strike over a new export tariff on soybean which has dealt a heavy blow to the country's economy, reports Agence France-Presse.
The 100-day strike caused food shortages in various Argentine cities will now continue, after arrests of protesters scuppered a peace deal with the government.
The stoppage over a tariff hike on soybean exports largely ended last week after strikers accepted a deal with President Cristina Kirchner's government and promised to resume grain and livestock sales.
