Evergreen Marine Corp. and China Shipping Container Line will launch a joint weekly service linking ports in Asia with the Pacific Northwest.
The carriers will operate six vessels, each with a capacity of 5,500 20-foot equivalent units, in a vessel sharing arrangement that will result in a more efficient and convenient trans-Pacific routing, the carriers said. Evergreen and China Shipping will each contribute three vessels.
The rotation will be Ningbo, Shanghai, Kaohsiung, Nansha, Hong Kong, Yantian, Tacoma, Seattle, Vancouver, B.C., Tokyo, Osaka and Ningbo.
