Beginning on January 19 of this year, the Latvian national airline airBaltic will be offering a greater number of flights to the Belarusian capital city of Minsk. The increase from seven to 10 flights per week is possible thanks to partnership between airBaltic and the Belarusian national airline Belavia.
Tero Taskila, Chief Commercial Officer of airBaltic: “Thanks to our partner Belavia, we can improve airBaltic services by offering more convenient connections between the Latvian and the Belarusian capital cities. We are also pleased that the additional flights will be of use for passengers who will travel from Scandinavia, Western Europe and the Mediterranean region to Minsk via Riga.”
airBaltic flies daily from Riga to Minsk, and Belavia-operated flights will be added on Tuesdays, Fridays and Sundays.
