American Airlines has expanded its extensive global network by launching nonstop service between Chicago and Beijing.
The new service – American’s first ever to Beijing -- complements the airline’s successful, four-year-old Chicago-Shanghai route. It also reinforces the strength of American’s cornerstone strategy, to focus on the most important business centers in the U.S. and around the world, being big where it counts the most.
As the second largest city in China, Beijing is the political, cultural and educational center of the country. And as more U.S. airlines in recent years have been allowed to fly directly to China, American’s new service will give customers a great new option for nonstop service.
