AirBridgeCargo Airlines has added an eleventh Boeing 747 freighter to its fleet to ensure that service quality and performance levels keep pace with a year of record-breaking growth.
The lease of the aircraft - the eighth B747-400F in ABC's fleet - commences on December 24th.
The airline said that the extra capacity will support its existing route network that links its Moscow hub with Amsterdam, Frankfurt, Maastricht, Milan, Zaragoza, Moscow, Krasnoyarsk, Hong Kong, Beijing, Shanghai, Tokyo, Seoul, Paris, Yekaterinburg, Almaty, Zhengzhou and Atyrau.
According to executive president Tatyana Arslanova, strong growth during this year will make 2010 the airline's most successful year to date in terms of volume and revenues.
ABC took delivery of its tenth Boeing 747F in July.
In addition to its fleet of B747-400s, the airline also operates two B747-200 freighters and one B747-300F.
