Australian airline Qantas resumed flights to and from Melbourne from 13.00hrs on Monday.
All Qantas services to and from Melbourne were cancelled from 18.00hrs on Sunday 12 June as a result of volcanic ash from the Puyehue-Cordon Caulle volcano in Chile.
Flights to and from Tasmania and New Zealand remain cancelled for the duration of Monday 13 June.
The airline says it will continue to monitor the movement of the ash cloud and assess its impact on flight operations as the situation develops.
