NY-NJ Terminals to Open Friday

All container terminals in the Port of New York and New Jersey will be open Friday following the Thanksgiving Day holiday, as the port continues to clear a backlog of cargo following Hurricane Sandy.   Maher Terminals will be open for truck processing Saturday. Port Newark Container Terminal will continue to offer extended hours, 6 a.m. to 7 p.m., next Monday through Friday.   Port terminals stayed open last Saturday and have provided extended hours since the port reopened after the storm interrupted cargo handling.   The Journal of Commerce
