USA carrier Hawaiian Airlines has launched three-times-weekly nonstop flights between Brisbane, Australia and its Honolulu base.
It already operates daily flights between Sydney and Honolulu, with interstate passengers carried by partner Virgin Australia.
In addition to the new services, Hawaiian also will operate 18 supplementary flights between March and May 2013 to test new scheduling options that will enable travellers from the US mainland to fly to Brisbane via Honolulu.
