AirBridgeCargo’s Freight Traffic Rises 4 Percent

AirBridgeCargo Airlines transported 223,732 tons of cargo in the first eight months of 2013, a 4 percent increase year-over-year. The Russian air cargo carrier’s punctuality indicator averaged 80 percent from January to August, while the regularity of services measure was 97 percent. In August, AirBridgeCargo moved 30,538 tons, rising 5 percent compared with the same month last year. Average load factors were also higher, up 6 percent to 73 percent. The gains, particularly in the low summer season, resulted from AirBridgeCargo’s continued focus on its operating performance indicator, according to the company. The Journal of Commerce
