Maersk to charter space on CMA CGM service

Maersk Line said it would charter space on CMA CGM's FAL 1 service between Asia and Europe.   The carrier confirmed a report published by CargoNewsAsia. The Asia/Europe route has been hard hit be declining shipments from Asia to Europe.   In addition, Evind Kolding chief executive officer of Maersk Line, said that it is not unimaginable that Maersk Line will lay up a number of mid-sized vessels in the new year.   American Shipper
