MCC Transport launches weekly string between Vladivostok, Busan
Singapore-based MCC Transport, a subsidiary of Maersk Line, introduced a new Russia Service (RU-1) linking Vladivostok with Busan, South Korea.
The weekly service is a single-vessel string, covering Busan, Vladivostok and back to Busan on a 7-day rotation.
“This service provides one of the best transit times between the ports of Busan and Vladivostok,” Maersk said in an announcement.
The first vessel in the new service was the OSG BOSSTEC that departed from Busan on April 21.
The Denmark-based company also said the service offers attractive transit times for the trade moving from Yokohama, Laem Chabang, Hong Kong, Kaohsiung and Singapore to Vladivostok through relay options at Busan.
