A new Maersk Line-CMA CGM partnership hit the water this weekend with the start of a new transpacific string that connects central and north China with the East Coast ports of the US.
The all water TP10 service offers timely access to multiple Chinese markets combined with the convenience of all water routing to East coast ports in North America, the Danish carrier announced in a statement.
An additional call at the Panamanian port of Balboa will further provide a diverse product to South American and Central American customers.
The new TP10 service is part of the VSA (Vessel Sharing Agreement) with CMA-CGM, consisting of eight Panamax 4,300 TEU vessels, four of which will be operated by Maersk Line. The service began on Saturday with the arrival of CMA-CGM Florida in Ningbo.
The TP10 eastbound rotation will be: Ningbo (China) – Shanghai (China) – Qingdao (China) – Busan (Korea) – Balboa (Panama) – Savannah (US) – Newark (US) – Miami (US). The westbound service will call Savannah (US) – Newark (US) – Miami (US) – Balboa (Panama) – Ningbo (China) – Shanghai (China) – Qingdao (China) – Busan (Korea).
