CMA CGM launches new service

CMA CGM has launched its new regular weekly service French Europe Med Express (FEMEX) between northern Europe, Greece and Turkey.   With the departure of the AS SCOTIA the CMA CGM shipping company now offers a direct link between Hamburg and important seaports of the eastern Mediterranean.   In the course of the 35-day round trip, the service will call at the Greek ports of Piraeus and Thessaloniki as well as Istanbul, Gebze, Gemlik and Izmir in Turkey.   By way of the Mediterranean hubs of Marsaxlokk and Tangier CMA CGM also offers transshipment options for goods going to North America, Latin America and West Africa. Eurogate Container Terminal Hamburg (CTH) is responsible for the loading and unloading in Hamburg.   Cargo News Asia
