Yang Ming to Increase Asia-U.S. Rates

Yang Ming Line, joining the liner company parade to raise pricing, will implement a general rate increase for cargo moving on its services from Asia to the United States, effective Aug. 10.   The proposed increases will be $400 per 20-foot, $500 per 40-foot, $563 per 40-foot high cube and $663 per 45-foot container.   The rate hike applies to both dry and refrigerated containers.   The Journal of Commerce Online
