MSC raises forest products rates to South America

Mediterranean Shipping Co. said it is raising rates on shipments of forest products and waste paper by $100 per TEU from the U.S. East and Gulf coasts to Cartagena and ports points the West Coast of South America.   "The current market is becoming more challenging and reaching a point where the stability of the service can be jeopardized based on the latest trend in rate levels," MSC said.   American Shipper
