Ethiopian orders 12 A350s

Airbus has won an order for 12 of its upcoming A350 planes from Africa’s Ethiopian Airlines for delivery from 2017. The deal brings total orders for the plane to 505.   Airbus’s A350, a long-range wide-body plane, will compete with Boeing’s 787 Dreamliner, which seats about 250 to 300 passengers, as well as its B777, which seats 300 to 450. The first B787, hit by delays, is due late 2010, while the A350 is scheduled to be delivered from 2013.  Aircargo Asia Pacific
