UTair-Ukraine, a subsidiary of UTair Aviation in Ukraine is slated to launch operations between Moscow and three destinations in Ukraine in December 2009. The subsidiary’s maiden flight is set for December 11 from Lugansk International Airport, Ukraine to Moscow, Vnukovo International Airport in Moscow, Russia.
UTair-Ukraine was established in September 2008 and received Ukrainian Civil Aviation certification in autumn of this year. The airline will offer regular and charter services as well as MRO services for its fleet at its local hub in Lugansk International Airport.
Initial UTair-Ukraine routes will include flights between Moscow and Lugansk, Kharkov and Nikolaev. Later the airline is planning to expand its route network both domestically in Ukraine and beyond its borders. UTair-Ukraine operations will be conducted with European ATR 42 aircraft.
