Boeing expects higher demand in Korea

Boeing Korea, the South Korean unit of Boeing Co (BA), expects South Korean airlines will place orders for new aircraft depending on the economic recovery in the next several years, Dow Jones reported.   The potential domestic airline companies include Korean Air, Asiana Airlines Inc. and Jeju Air.   Currently, the country's flag carrier Korean Air has placed an order for 10 Boeing 787-8 Dreamliners with the delivery scheduled between 2011 and 2014 after two rounds of delay.   Cargonews Asia
