Germanwings to launch Israel service

German Low-cost airline Germanwings (4U), a Lufthansa subsidiary, has announced that it will start flights between Tel Aviv and Cologne on March 30.

 

The airline announced that it will offer two weekly flights Cologne – Tel Aviv using Airbus A-319 planes with 140 seats.

 

Germanwings is a low cost airline based in Cologne Germany. It operates services to over 70 destinations in Europe. Its main base is Cologne Bonn Airport. The airline has been wholly owned by Lufthansa since 1 January 2009.
