Malaysia Airlines orders A300-200 freighters

Malaysia Airlines has placed a firm order with Airbus for seventeen A330 widebody aircraft, including two A330-200 freighters for operation by the carrier's subsidiary MASkargo.

 

The first freighter is scheduled for delivery in the second half of 2011.

 

MASkargo will fly the aircraft on sectors of up to 3,200 nautical miles, with the capacity to carry payloads of almost 70 tonnes.
