Maersk Line Offers New Direct Service From The Far East To Tin Can

5/6/2010 10:18:23 AM

Maersk Line, the world's largest container shipping line and part of the Danish group A.P. Moller - Maersk, has introduced a new direct service from the Far East to Tin Can Island, Nigeria.

The organisation has announced the following change in the rotation of their FEW1 service, where the weekly call to Apapa will be replaced with a direct call to Tin Can Island. By changing the rotation, Maersk Line now offers direct weekly departures from the Far East to Tin Can Island, while maintaining a weekly service to Apapa on the FEW2 service.

The new rotation will include the following ports: Shanghai (China), Ningbo (China), Hong Kong (Hong Kong), Nansha (China), Tanjung Pelepas (Malaysia), Lome (Togo), Cotonou (Benin) and Tin Can Island (Nigeria)

The FEW1 service will be calling the TICT terminal in Tin Can Island.
