French liner carrier CMA CGM said it will raise rates and surcharges on a host of trades on June 15 and July 1.
The line is raising rates from:
• Asia to Red Sea ports by $150 per TEU on June 15 and $400 on July 1.
• The West Mediterranean to the Caribbean (except the French West Indies and Guyana, Venezuela, Colombia, Central America and the west coast of South America) by 100 euros for all types of containers on June 15.
• Asia to the Indian Subcontinent by $150 per TEU on July 1
Asia to the Persian Gulf by $200 per TEU on July 1.
• Vancouver to Asia by $160 per 20-foot container, $200 per 40-foot container, $400 per 20-foot reefer container and $500 per 40-foot reefer container on July 1.
• Vancouver to the Indian Subcontinent by $250 per 20-foot container, $300 per 40-foot container, $400 per 20-foot reefer container and $500 per 40-foot reefer container on July 1.
• Montreal to all destinations by $250 per 20-foot container and $350 per 40-foot container on July 1.
CMA CGM will also assess a peak season surcharge from:
• Asia to the Persian Gulf and Indian Subcontinent of $150 per TEU on June 15.
• Asia to North America of $320 per 20-foot reefer container and $450 per 40-foot reefer container on June 15.
• Asia to the Mediterranean and Black Sea (except north Africa) of $200 per TEU on June 15.
• Asia to the Persian Gulf, India and Pakistan of $100 per TEU on July 1, to be assessed on top of the $150 per TEU surcharge on June 15.
Finally, the line will assess a high-cube container surcharge of $200 per TEU from Asia to the Persian Gulf on June 15 and from Asia to the Indian Subcontinent on June 21.
