CMA CGM has taken delivery of the 13,830 TEU CMA CGM Amerigo Vespucci, built by Daewoo Shipbuilding & Marine Engineering.
Sailing under the French flag, the CMA CGM Amerigo Vespucci is the second in a series of eight vessels named after the great explorers, and is the sister ship of the CMA CGM Christophe Colomb.
The new vessel will be operated on the French Asia Line (FAL 5) service that links Asia with North Europe, and will begin its rotation in Ningbo on July 31st, calling at Shanghai, Yantian, Tanjung Pelepas, Port Klang, Le Havre, Hamburg, Rotterdam, Zeebrugge, Port Klang, Singapore and Ningbo.
