FedEx Corp’s freight-forwarding subsidiary has opened three new offices in Europe as part of a two-year-old global expansion plan, Associated Press Newswires.
FedEx Trade Networks opened offices in Rotterdam, Netherlands, and in Frankfurt and Hamburg, Germany. The subsidiary has opened 28 new freight-forwarding offices around the world since the 2008 expansion began.
Rotterdam and Hamburg are major ports and Frankfurt is an air-service hub. The company said they were key markets for ocean and air cargo service to Central Europe.
