Qatar Airways is to increase its weekly flights to India by 19 percent from September 1, as the Middle Eastern airline seeks to expand in the fast-recovering aviation market, reported Dow Jones Newswires.
The Doha-based airline said it would add 14 flights a week to the cities of Delhi, Amritsar and Kochi, taking its total weekly flights to 88.
In addition to the three cities, Qatar Airways operates flights to Bangalore, Mumbai, Hyderabad, Chennai, Thiruvananthapuram, Kozhikode, Ahmedabad and Goa.
India is Qatar Airways' biggest market by number of destinations flown to, the airline said. Cargonews Asia
