DHL has launched a new direct LCL service from Shenzhen in China, to Los Angeles, the second largest container port in the US.
Operated by DHL Global Forwarding's in-house carrier, Danmar Lines, the new service offers greater cost efficiency and flexibility, with a transit time of fifteen days.
The new service follows the launch of LCL services from Shenzhen to New York and Vancouver last year, and will enhance DHL's offering on the transpacific route.
DHL currently operates 45 direct LCL services between Asia Pacific and North America.
