In an effort to meet logistics training demand in Việt Nam, MGC Institute of Logistics (MIL) has launched its fifth LogixPro Course for people who are working in logistics industry and companies with plans in expanding their services in terms of logistics. Under the philosophy of “study to work”, participants in this course are provided specific and practical knowledge and advises by MIL’s academic board of experienced professors.
LogixPro Course consists of nine modules:
Issues In Foreign Trading; Cargo Shipping By Sea; Air-Freight Forwarding; Intermodal Freight Forwarding; Cargo, Means Of Transportation Insurance And Liability Of Carriers; Freight Forwarding And Customs Procedures; Certificate Of Origin – C/O; Legal Regulations Of Logistics Services; Logistics & Logistics Service.
After finishing LogixPro Course, students can study further with Advanced Logix-SCM Course or the Diploma & Advance Diploma courses in Supply Chain Management & Logistics program jointly provided by MIL and The Australian Logistics Academy-ALA with flexible on-line courses including a two-day class studying with lecturers from ALA.
On March 19, 2011, MIL has launched the first module of LogixPro Course, Issues In Foreign Trading, By the end of this module, students will have a clear understanding of major issues in a foreign trading contract, how to compose and carry out an import/export contract, including various useful skills in international payment, making sets of document in international payment and hiring international means of transportation. Students will have a more comprehensive view of logistics with this module.
Taking part in Issues In Foreign Trading module are those working for import/export companies in textile and garment industry, pharmaceutical, and handicraft industries. There are also some participants from freight forwarding companies.
