Virgin adds fuel surcharge, hikes fares

Australia's Virgin Blue is hiking fares and adding to its fuel surcharges, blaming high oil prices.   Effective for tickets sold from 10 May, fuel surcharges on V Australia flights from Australia to Los Angeles will increase by 45 per cent, from A$165 one way to A$240.   Domestic and international fares on Virgin Blue and Pacific Blue will increase - depending on the sector booked - by up to A$10 for all tickets sold from 06 May.   Aircargo Asia Pacific
