Horizon Lines said it will raise rates on its U.S. shipments to China on Nov. 1 to match announced increases by members of the Westbound Transpacific Stabilization Agreement.
The planned general rate increase would apply to dry and refrigerated containers and would be total $160 per 20-foot container, $200 per standard or high-cube 40-foot container and $250 per 40-foot box.
Horizon is not a member of the WTSA, The carrier’s Asian service has a rotation of Los Angeles, Oakland, Guam, Ningbo, Shanghai and back to Oakland, with a service to Tacoma, Washington.
