ZIM to add peak season surcharge

ZIM announced that it would impose a peak season surcharge of US$225 per TEU from December 26, despite complaints by container carriers over the lack of a peak season this year. The surcharge will apply to westbound cargo from Asia and Indian sub-continent to North Europe, West Mediterranean and Adriatic destinations. Cargonews Asia
