Intermarine said it has added the port of Paita, Peru, to its regular liner service from Houston to the west coast of South America.
"Adding the additional port of call to our liner service will provide our oil and gas and power customers the flexibility they are seeking," said Lou Descioli, vice president of west coast South America service, in a statement.
Industrial Destiny, an 8,000-deadweight-ton vessel with two 250-metric-ton cranes, will sail for Paita on July 20. Other regular port calls on the service include Esmeraldas and Guayaquil in Ecuador, Peru's Callao, and Puerto Angamos, Chile.
