FRENCH shipping giant CMA CGM's 1,440-TEU Christopher has docked at the Ust-Luga Container Terminal (ULCT) outside of St Petersburg, depositing 75 TEU on arrival from Hamburg before proceeding to St Petersburg itself.
The new schedule offers fixed fortnightly calls to ULCT as a part of a service connecting the terminal to Zeebrugge, Antwerp and Hamburg, reports Dredging Today. The launch of CMA CGM service at ULCT is an important milestone for the terminal's development.
Today, customers can take advantage of ULCT's modern equipment, geographical location and high service quality that allows it to handle container cargo in the shortest possible time, said the statement from ULCT, a unit of Russia's National Container Company (NCC).
