FedEx Express, a subsidiary of FedEx, has implemented new rates for customers in the Asia-Pacific using FedEx International Priority and FedEx International Economy services.
The new rate structure provides an overall increase of about 4 percent and will take effect in Australia, China, Guam, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Macau, Malaysia, New Zealand, Singapore, Taiwan and Thailand. For Vietnam customers, the rates will be effective from Jan. 21.
The company has also implemented a rate reduction for lightweight shipments up to 45 kilograms (about 99 pounds).
