TAIWAN's Wan Hai Lines (WHL) is expanding its intra-Asia network by joining the Pan Asia 2 (PA2) service on April 3 to provide an express link from north China to Singapore and Malaysia.
The PA2 service is jointly operated by Yang Ming Line (YML) and Pacific International Lines (PIL) with four vessels, each with a capacity of 2,800 TEU. YML will deploy two vessels while WHL and PIL will provide one ship each.
The port rotation for the 28-day voyage is Tianjin-Xingang, Dalian, Qingdao, Shanghai, Fuzhou-Jiangyin, Hong Kong, Singapore, Port Kelang-West Port, Port Kelang-North Port, Penang, Singapore, Hong Kong, returning to Tianjin-Xingang.
