Turkish Airlines has added another destination in the US. With existing services to Chicago, New York, Washington DC and Los Angeles, as from April 1, 2013, Turkish Airlines began its flights to Houston.
Flights between Istanbul and Houston operated as four times per week on Mondays, Tuesdays, Fridays and Saturdays. Beginning in July, flights between the two cities will be increased to 6 times weekly with the addition of Wednesday and Sunday flights.
This brought the total number of cities served to 220, in 98 countries, further expanding Turkish Airlines' extensive global network. And with the addition of Houston, Turkish Airlines linked the rapidly growing Texas market to its global hub at Istanbul’s Ataturk Airport.
