United Arab Shipping Co. will boost rates on some of its trade routes, effective June 1 (based on the bill of lading date).
- From Asia to North Europe, the Mediterranean and Adriatic, the increase will be $675 per 20-foot-equivalent unit for both dry cargo, including special equipment, and refrigerated cargo.
- From the west Mediterranean to the Middle East, including the Red Sea, India, Pakistan, Asia and Australia, the hike will be $100 per 20-foot container and $200 per 40-foot container for all exports.
