UASC Slates July 1 Asia-Mediterranean Rate Hike

United Arab Shipping Co. will implement a rate increase for dry and refrigerated cargo from Asia to the Mediterranean and Adriatic on July 1. The hike will be $475 per 20-foot-equivalent unit, the container line said. Maersk Line, Mediterranean Shipping Co., MOL and OOCL will also boost Asia-Mediterranean rates on July 1.
