Maersk’s Triple E Vessel Makes Maiden Call in China

Yantian International Container Terminals in China has welcomed the inaugural call of the 18,000 20-foot-equivalent-unit Maersk Mc-Kinney Møller, a Triple E vessel. The Maersk Mc-Kinney Møller handled 1,682 containers during its maiden voyage. The ships is 400 meters (about 1,312 feet) long and 194 feet wide, and has been deployed in Maersk’s Asia-Europe service. The Journal of Commerce
