IAG Cargo is increasing capacity between London and Africa and the Middle East in the coming months by adding new services and increasing plane sizes.
This winter, the carrier will add three more flights each week between London and Accra, Ghana, while flights to Entebbe, Uganda, are being raised from three to four times per week. IAG is planning to replace the Boeing 767 currently flying on the Ghana route with a 747 next summer.
IAG will increase capacity between London and Tel Aviv starting next summer, replacing A321 services with add daily Boeing 777-200 flights. Airline officials expect this increase in capacity to help satisfy demand from the pharmaceutical, technology and perishable sectors.
