Galborg USA has upgraded its refrigerated container cargo service from Jacksonville, Fla., to ports in Namibia, South Africa and Mozambique, according to Jacksonville Port Authority.
The carrier recently upgraded its vessel fleet and is now offering up to 100 reefer units on each ship on its service between Florida and Africa. The port rotation includes calls at Walvis Bay, Namibia; Cape Town and Durban, South Africa; and Maputo, Mozambique.
The first vessel in the upgraded service arrived at Jaxport’s Blount Island Marine Terminal on Oct. 10, and was handled by Portus, a container and heavy lift cargo terminal operator.
