Dragonair to launch Hong Kong-Penang A330-300 service in March 2014

DRAGONAIR says it will operate 10 weekly flights between Hong Kong and Penang, Malaysia, starting from March 30, subject to government approval. Penang will become the Hong Kong-based airline's second destination in Malaysia as it currently operates daily service to Kota Kinabalu in Borneo. Airbus A330-300 aircraft will operate the Penang service which is will depart daily from Hong Kong in the afternoon, with additional flights to Penang Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday mornings, a company statement said. In addition, sister airline Cathay Pacific will maintain its four daily flights between Hong Kong and Kuala Lumpur. Both airlines combined will operate a total of 45 weekly flights to Malaysia.   Asian Shipper News
