COSCO, MSC announce GRIs

COSCO Container Lines and MSC Mediterranean Shipping Company have announced general rate increases.     COSCO has increased its rates for all shipments, including reefer cargo, from the Far East to South America West Coast and Mexico. The changes, which will take effect Jan. 15, are $600 per 20-foot container, $1,200 per 40-foot container and $1,200 per high-capacity, 40-foot container.    MSC rates will increase on all cargo from the Far East to West Africa and Angola. The changes, which will take effect Jan. 10, are $150 per 20-foot container and $300 per 40-foot container.   American Shipper
