AIR China has announced that it is launching a new service from Beijing to Washington on June 10, making Washington the carrier's seventh North American destination.
The four-times weekly service CA817/8 will be operated on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays with Boeing 777-30ER aircraft.
The outbound flight leaves Beijing at 1300 hrs and arrives in Washington at 1435 hrs local time. The return flight leaves Washington at 1635 hrs local time and arrives in Beijing at 1815 hr Beijing time the following day, a statement from the carrier posted by PRNewswire said.
It said that to meet strong demand for travel to the United States and improve its global route network via the hub in Beijing, the airline has increased its Beijing-New York service to 11 times weekly and Beijing-Los Angeles to twice daily. It has also introduced Beijing-Houston and Beijing-Hawaii services.
