Indonesia to build 62 airports

Indonesia has 62 new airports in the pipeline, and the country could have 299 airports within five years, the government says. Deputy Transportation minister Bambang Susantono said the regional spread would be sufficient to "improve accessibility in our country". Currently Indonesia has 237 airports, 16 of which are commercial airports in big cities.     Aircargo Asia Pacific
