THE Asia-US West Coast string of the Grand Alliance's Middle East-Asia-USWC pendulum service will be brought into the new Asia-North America G6 arrangement.
The service branded Pacific South & Gulf (PSG) by Hanjin Shipping is operated by the South Korean carrier and Japan's NYK Line in accordance with a Grand Alliance agreement involving Hapag-Lloyd and OOCL, reports Alphaliner.
The port rotation is: Jebel Ali, Bahrain, Dammam, Port Kelang, Singapore, Laem Chabang, Yantian, Los Angeles, Oakland, Busan, Shanghai, Ningbo, Yantian, Singapore, Jebel Ali.
It is operated by twelve 6,100-6,600 TEU ships, of which eight are provided by NYK and the others by Hanjin Shipping.
The Asia-USWC leg of the service will be named 'SE3' under the G6 network extension from May, with Hyundai Merchant Marine (HMM) taking slots, and APL and MOL not participating.
