Chinese carriers to support local planemakers

China's two biggest airline companies, China Southern Airlines and Air China, are being tipped to back a proposed domestic plane maker operation to challenge Boeing and Airbus.   The Chinese market is generally believed to have the potential to be the biggest buyer of commercial planes over the next 20 years.
