Hawaiian Airlines has added another aircraft to an original order for six A330-200s and six A350 XWB-800s from the European manufacturer.
Three more leased A330s will join Hawaiian's fleet in April, May and November this year linking points in Asia and North America. The seven purchased aircraft will be added between the second quarter of 2011 and the first quarter of 2014 to replace B767s.
In 2017 Hawaiian will take delivery of the first of six new A350-800 XWB aircraft. The A350 will have a range of 8,300 nautical miles enabling the airline to fly nonstop to Asia, Australasia, the Americas and Europe.
