BA to boost US services

6/22/2010 9:59:26 AM

UK carrier British Airways chief executive Willie Walsh says BA is considering adding flights to Boston, Washington and Chicago (all USA) from London City airport because transatlantic traffic remains "robust" despite the global economic downturn. Walsh also says the carrier will try to operate even more flights than during previous cabin crew strike periods if the next Unite union ballot authorises further northern summer stoppages.
