Cathay Pacific Airways has announced that Honolulu, the capital city of Hawaii, will be added to its code-share co-operation with oneworld alliance member Japan Airlines.
The expanded agreement will see Cathay Pacific’s “CX” code placed on Japan Airlines flights operating from Tokyo’s Narita and Haneda airports, Osaka and Nagoya to Honolulu, Hawaii.
The latest addition is a further expansion of an existing agreement, which covers both airlines’ services between Japan and Hong Kong as well as Japan Airlines’ 13 domestic routes.
Cathay Pacific has also recently enhanced its network in North America through new code-share arrangements with WestJet and Alaska Airlines.
