MSC raises U.S. West Coast/South America rates

Liner carrier Mediterranean Shipping Co. said it is raising rates and bunker surcharges on shipments from the United States to the West Coast of South America. The rate increase is $300 per TEU and the bunker surcharge will go to $365 per TEU. The bunker fee is effective immediately while the rate increase is effective March 6.   American Shipper
